Peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini merupakan para mahasiswa dan dosen Teknik Elektro UK Maranatha.<\/p>\n<p>Acara dibuka dengan sambutan oleh Ketua Program Sarjana Teknik Elektro, Heri Andrianto, S.T., M.T. Dalam sambutannya, ia menyampaikan bahwa mempelajari teknik 3D\u00a0<em>printing<\/em>\u00a0sangat bermanfaat dalam pembuatan dudukan atau penutup komponen-komponen listrik yang sering digunakan dalam perkuliahan.<\/p>\n<p>Pembahasan materi disampaikan oleh dua orang instruktur yang merupakan mahasiswa Teknik Elektro UK Maranatha. Kedua pemateri tersebut adalah Vincent Utama dan Siti Budi Suryadi, mereka juga tergabung dalam 3D Printing &amp; Design Research Group Teknik Elektro UK Maranatha.<\/p>\n<p>Vincent memaparkan bahwa tujuan dari\u00a0<em>rapid prototyping<\/em>\u00a0adalah untuk mencetak atau membuat benda fisik dari suatu komponen secara cepat dengan menggunakan teknik apapun, seperti menggambar manual, mendesain secara\u00a0<em>digital<\/em>\u00a0dan pertukangan. Pada tahun 2022, teknik yang populer digunakan adalah\u00a0<em>3D design<\/em>\u00a0dan\u00a0<em>printing<\/em>\u00a0karena penggunaan teknik ini bisa menciptakan secara cepat bentuk nyata purwarupa dari suatu komponen dengan bahan yang diinginkan.<\/p>\n<p>Siti Budi juga menyampaikan bahwa teknik\u00a0<em>prototyping<\/em>\u00a0dengan\u00a0<em>3D design &amp; printing<\/em>\u00a0sudah dimulai sejak tahun 1980 hingga sekarang. Wilayah penggunaannya pun banyak ditemukan dalam berbagai bidang, seperti industri manufaktur, kuliner, dan konstruksi bangunan. Selain itu, teknik ini juga memiliki banyak keuntungan, seperti biaya yang terjangkau, proses yang efisien, serta potensi penggunaan yang dinilai hampir tidak terbatas di segala bidang.<\/p>\n<p>Dengan segala potensi dan manfaat dari topik ini, Siti Budi berharap para peserta bisa mengambil manfaat dengan mempraktikkan materi-materi yang sudah dipaparkan secara antusias.
